NMC Act's third year was finished in September 2022, however the NExT regulations have not yet been completed. Validity has been extended by another year. Whereas the National Medical Commission Act 2019 was approved by the president on August 8, 2019, and it went into effect on September 25, 2020, as a result of the government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's notification number SO 3262 (E) dated September 24, 2020, which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part 2, Section 3, Subsection 2. And while Section 15 of the Act calls for the administration of the "National Exit Test," a common undergraduate final-year exam that will serve as the foundation for admission to PG medical programmes, registration to practise medicine, and a screening test for foreign medical graduates interested in practising modern medicine, The NExT must be operational three years after the NMC Act of 2019 takes effect, or on September 25, 2022, and it must be run by a designated authority in accordance with any applicable rules. However, despite almost two years having passed, no regulations have yet been created, and the constitutions for the examination cell are also still being worked on. Therefore, in order to resolve the aforementioned issues, the central government hereby issues the following order in accordance with the authority granted by section 59 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019. The National Medical Commission First (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2022, may be referred to as such. It will take effect the day after it is published in the official gazette. In subsection (3) of Section 15 of the Act, the phrase "four words" shall be used in place of "three years".
